Tonight is the first time in Roslyn's life that she finished a bowl of vegetables! I mixed peas with bananas and strawberries; she ate it all!! Then proceeded to lick/bite the bowl, use her empty bowl as a drum, eat puffs for dessert (the pic with her very intent, concentrated look), and drink water from her new sippie cup with a straw!

The video started after she'd been there for a while. When she first sat in Santa's lap, she kept touching his coat. :) The sun in her eyes probably wasn't helping.
It amazes me how fast things can change. Yesterday she didn't move as good as she does today! She can stand all the way up while she's sitting in her crib. My baby's growing up.... *tear*
I love mi bebe's laugh. It has to be my favorite sound in the world now. We went for a stroll at Heritage Park today with Melissa. Roslyn cracked us up the way she was lounging and propping her feet up.
Roslyn Kate is 8 months old today!! Time is flying by! She slept through the night from month 3 to month 6. When she started teething/when we moved in with the in-laws she started waking up during the night again. Sometimes she'll sleep through the night, but she's pretty consistent now with waking up once during night for a bottle then right back to bed. She's still drinking breast milk; I'm supplementing by giving her maybe one soy formula bottle each day. Her favorite baby food so far is mango. She hates peaches and sweet peas. I weighed her this morning on my scale at home. She is 15.8 lbs with just a diaper on. She started scooting last night.. not quite crawling yet. She'll take tiny steps while holding on to someone's hands. I wouldn't be surprised if she walks before she crawls! She loves the snow globe but is scared of a snowman. Roslyn's my independent, dramatic, beautiful, sweet baby.

As you can see in the picture, I witnessed Roslyn pulling herself up to her knees/squatting position. Andrew said earlier today she pulled herself all the way up to standing position!!
Then comes the one who chose me and I him. We CHOSE one another to love like we do our families. We chose each other to love forever & to be included IN our families.
And now.... coming from the love of that man I chose, our baby. The newest addition to my family love. How beautiful is new life!
My head is spinning. I have 4 weeks to pack up my 2 bedroom apartment (including kitchen, living room, dining room, & bathrooms) and condense down to one bedroom. :) fun fun. No but it'll be good. We'll be there while I'm in school and Andrew will be starting school soon.
I'm meeting my madre and baby for lunch! YAY. Nothing like a baby fix mid day to get me through work/school. :)
